The Board voted to co-sponsor the Essex National Heritage Commission's conference, "The Road to Success: Preserving the Historical Records in Essex County,"to be held on May 15, 2000 by providing $25.00 and a set of NEA mailing labels. [4/28/00, p. 1]

Announcements for the Spring 2001 meeting will be sent to non-NEA arts organizations in addition to the regular recipients. [4/28/00, p. 5]

Board noted that whenever labels are sent out, they should be accompanied by a letter that sets out NEA's policy for one-time use of the labels, and suggested that vendors should be required to sign an agreement letter to insure that they do not enter NEA's database information into their own databases. Board voted to approve Development Coordinator's recommendation that vendors be given one-year institutional memberships in the year in which they contribute to NEA. [7/31/00, item 9]
