Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies Reading Group
with
Kyna Herzinger

Read the article and join the New England Archivists Education Committee and author Kyna Herzinger to discuss the evolution of MPLP over time and its current value today. As approaches to archival management changes, particularly in the wake of the current pandemic, our handling of archival theories and principles must adjust too. This article opens the door to discussing the importance of MPLP, its challenges and strengths, and its uses over time through today. Archival principles do not exist in a bubble, but adapt as time passes to suit the needs of each individual. MPLP is no different, and it will continue to change and adapt over time.
