Attention NEA Members! Join Join fellow New England Archivists for a tour of the Steamship Historical Society of America led by their Archivist, Astrid Drew. Formed in 1935, SSHSA seeks to share the impact of engine-powered vessels, their crews, and their passengers with future generations. Today, the organization holds more than 100 collections, as well as a maritime reference library, on steam navigation past and present.
A casual gathering will meet after the tour at a local site. Details to come.
